As the photography becoming a new trend, people like to explore different places for having a perfect photograph. Delhi-NCR has some phenomenal and historic places for the photoshoot. As the capital of India, New Delhi has some unbelievable history that’s why it includes various types of historic places. While in other country people like to have a click on skyscrapers, people in India like to click their picture on the historic place. Delhi has various ancient history and some of top of the line monument place.
Now let’s see some of the places which were great for the photo shoot: –
Location: – Lodhi Road, Lodhi Gardens, Lodhi Estate, New Delhi, Delhi 110003.
Basically, it is only a city park, with very large amount of area (approximate about 90 acres). It has Mohammad Shah tomb, which was built in 1444. This place is near from Jor Bagh metro station and if you coming from south Delhi, then you have to depart on JLN stadium.
Location: – old Delhi and has the metro station in yellow line.
It is the oldest market of Delhi, famous for high population, narrow path, and the world famous old Delhi market. This place on the yellow line of Delhi metro, near old Delhi railway station. And also near to Kashmiri gate (a.k.a. I.S.B.T. Kashmiri gate). Chandni Chowk is a place of some old building with the modern touch.
Location: – Rajpath Marg, India Gate, New Delhi, Delhi 110001.
It is one of the most famous places in Delhi. It is open, huge and attractive, and there is no charge for visiting. India gate is a huge architectural structure, with some awesome view. After all, it is the core of Delhi and near to Rajya Sabha. Rajya Sabha is also one of the top destination for photographers.
Location: – Mehrauli, New Delhi, Delhi 110030.
Qutub Minar is located in south Delhi and has its own metro station. It is located on the yellow line of the Delhi metro. Qutub Minar is the highest historic monument of Delhi with the height of 73 meters. It is made of red stone and marble.
National Rail Museum
Location: – Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, Delhi 110021.
It sad to hear that no metro station is nearby. But Safdarjung railway station is the nearest place with the walking distance of around 10 minutes. In this place, you will see some of the historic modes of transportation. And I am definitely sure that you will like it not because of its old transportation engines, but because of its historic value.
